Project policies

Find the contribution, conduct, security, support, and maintainer policies for the pre-release project.

Lumen is pre-release. Public participation must preserve a working vertical product, an inspectable security boundary, and a repository safe to publish. These pages explain how to propose a change, where to report a vulnerability or conduct concern, what information belongs in a support request, and what maintainers are expected to enforce.

Choose the right path

  • Contributing covers scoped changes, proof, generated contracts, and public-tree safety.
  • Code of conduct covers respectful participation and private conduct reports.
  • Security reporting covers vulnerability reports and safe testing.
  • Support separates defects, usage questions, proposals, and private reports.
  • Maintainer expectations describes review, release, conflict, and disclosure responsibilities.

The root policy files in the repository remain canonical for contribution, conduct, vulnerability, and support rules. If this site and a root policy differ, treat the root file at the same commit as authoritative and report the documentation drift.
